Boulder AI and Systems Infrastructure Lab

The Boulder AI and Systems Infrastructure Lab (BASIL) is led by Prof. Mark Zhao. We are a part of the Computer Systems Lab in the Computer Science Department at the University of Colorado Boulder. Our mission is to develop the foundational infrastructure that powers AI-driven applications across a broad range of domains, from AI agents to robots. We do this by applying a broad set of systems techniques to make end-to-end machine learning training and inference pipelines more performant, scalable, efficient, and secure.
